I went to see Avatar finally tonight. In 3D of course, because I wanted to get the full experience. I can truthfully say I went into the movie wanting to not like it. I wanted to find something about it that I just couldn't stand. Mostly because it is so popular and partly because James Cameron irks me a bit.
Honestly, though, I loved it. It was a fun movie and it was very pretty. I could probably point out several niggling complaints with the movie if I wanted, but I won't bother. Went in determined to dislike it, came out a fan. That's an accomplishment.
