On Inaugural Protests

In our country all citizens are allowed to vote. Each vote has the same value. This includes votes from Blacks, LGBT, Women, Asians, etc. and does not exclude votes from rednecks, whites or men. Once everyone has voted, the electoral college is utilized to weight regional value and a winner is determined.

Protesting the outcome of this system is, in essence, standing up to say "my vote matters more than everyone else's and what I wanted is more important."

I think this is the wrong perspective and the wrong attitude. Let's stop the madness.
